Now, after years of long legal battles over the Sixth Street Embarkment, all parties are coming together to put an end to court fees that have added up to millions. The proposed high line idea might start development as early as next year.

Boston and New York-based firm Next Street is quoted as the “merchant bank” to small business owners. They provide loans to businesses who have a great amount of opportunity for growth while providing them with strategic advice. The Next Street Opportunity Fund plans to loan $30 million to businesses that meet their criteria.

Jean Francois Gatozre and his wife says the name of the bakery means “woman from Toulouse” and has always wanted to operate a bakery in America since leaving France six years ago.
The bakery will serve traditional pastries from croissants to french baguettes. La Toulousaine is located on 942 Amsterdam Avenue between 106th and 107th Street
