From minor to major, The Food Institute has just released their annual food recall listing which also provides operators with the tools they need to be proactive and streamline procedures.

Amendment to the Tavern on The Green RFP was released earlier this month on Tuesday, March 6th. Proposals are due Friday, March 30th

In efforts to find an operator for the old Tavern on The Green space, The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation updated the previously issued RFP with no change in the original due date. Tavern on The Green will be turned into a casual restaurant, outdoor cafe and bar.

The successful event of nine years has tons of restaurants in various neighborhoods participating in efforts to promote Brooklyn’s dining scene. In addition to prix fixe, some restaurants are offering 2-for-1 brunch, lunch and dinner specials.

Foragers City Grocer, a grocery market, opens second location with an on-site restaurant in Chelsea

If you’re looking for fresh charcuterie, fish or greenmarket produce, you will find that here. Although the Chelsea location is now open, the restaurant is expected to open in a few weeks and will use produce from the Foragers City farm and local meats.
Foragers City Grocer is located on 300 West 22nd Street towards the corner of 8th Avenue
