The Village Voice will host their second annual Brooklyn Pour event in Fort Greene. This year’s festival will feature more than 100 craft beers, plus entertainment and on-site demos from local brewmasters.

A joint venture between a floral designer and tea master puts a unique spin on traditional tea flavors for an exotic taste. The space hosts a variety of rare tea collections, Yi Xing pots, cups,
tea ware and instruments with floral arrangements on display. They will also have classes for Chinese tea art, tea appreciation and painting.

New Yorkers for Beverage Choices PR Stunt opposes Bloomberg Soda Ban
The New Yorkers for Beverage Choices (NYBC) was started by the American soft-drink industry to raise awareness about the ban and get more public support. Pro-soda rights banners were flying low over New York City beaches in the Rockaways and Coney Island on 4th of July while moviegoers witnessed staff members wearing “I picked out my beverage all by myself” t-shirts.
NYBC also created a viral video called “Where Will It End”. What are your thoughts on this PR tactic?
Radish plans to open an event space and supper club this Fall
Williamsburg’s favorite spot for grab-n-go home-cooked meals, specialty food products and more will soon have another location with a bit more space for patrons who’d like to stay a while. The event space will be able to host dinners for corporate dinners, weddings, and other special occasions. When the event space is not is use, the supper club will host a ticketed event with a seasonal menu.
The new 1,500 sq. ft. event space and supper club will be located on 190 North 14th Street between Berry and Wythe Street
Urban Rustic opens at McCarren Park in Williamsburg
After the recent re-opening of the pool at McCarren Park, Urban Rustic has decided to set up shop on wheels. The food cart will offer items to-go such as bratwurst wrapped in bacon with pico de gallo/American cheese, s’more bars and much more.
