Green Table, a Chelsea Market cafe, recently opened two food kiosks in Battery Park City serving Blue Marble ice cream and Crop to Cup coffee.
The kiosks are located inside of Battery Park (Battery Place and State Street) close to the Castle Clinton National Monument
Vegan Divas opens in the Upper East Side
This vegan bakery and cafe offers doughnuts, cookies, muffins, chocolate mousse, macaroons and carrot cake. They sell kosher baked goods too.

Urban Space opens another market in the Meatpacking District on September 1st
Starting on September 1st until the end of 2012, the Meatpacking District will host a food/fashion market with a “mixology bar” for juices and non-alcoholic drinks. The market will be open every day from 11am – 8 pm. Asia Dog, Steve’s Ice Cream, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Mayhem & Stour, and Mexicue are a part of the line-up so far.

Chobani has finally opened its flagship location on Prince Street. The menu offers breakfast-ready fruit and granola, peanut butter and jelly, pistachio and chocolate and more.

Pop Karma is now open in the Lower East Side
It seems like a popcorn trend is happening in New York City as another shop dedicated to popping kernels opened on Monday. Pop Karma, which started as a Kickstarter project, now has a retail location that offers unique flavors like Mediterranean, Zen Cheddar, Pure Caramel, Barbecue, White Truffle Cheddar and Margarita.

Chrysanthemum, Rare Teas & Flowers opens in Prospect Heights
A joint venture between a floral designer and tea master puts a unique spin on traditional tea flavors for an exotic taste. The space hosts a variety of rare tea collections, Yi Xing pots, cups,
tea ware and instruments with floral arrangements on display. They will also have classes for Chinese tea art, tea appreciation and painting.

H & H Bagels might reopen again
The famous bagel empire closed for business earlier this year in January but the owner, Helmer Toro, promised that he would try to get back in business again. Recently, a lease was signed for 1,800 square feet at 125 Fulton Street (near Nassau Street) by H & H Bagels as reported by the Real Deal. Grub Street New York is still waiting for confirmation from the bread bakery’s owner.
The space was previously owned by The Bread Factory Cafe
Hot Bread Kitchen opens Hot Bread Almacen in Spanish Harlem
Hot Bread Kitchen, a non-profit that helps low-income and foreign-born women gain access to the specialty food industry, opened its first retail location for their signature breads inside of Spanish Harlem’s La Marqueta. The new bread bakery opened yesterday and showcases a full line of Hot Bread Kitchen products which includes corn tortillas, lavash crackers, bialy and more.
