Megyn Kelly Is Worried Starbucks Customers Will Have to ‘Deal With Homeless People’

“Megyn Kelly, anchor of Megyn Kelly Today, an hour-long segment part of NBC’s Today show, is against Starbucks’s new bathroom and purchase policies.

Earlier this month, the Seattle-based coffee behemoth officially granted restroom access to customers and non-customers alike. It then announced purchasing food or drink is no longer required to spend time at a Starbucks. Kelly, who made a high-profile move to NBC after leaving Fox News in 2017, is afraid of who customers might meet at the company’s cafes.”

Pret A Manger to be acquired by Panera owner JAB

“The owner of Panera Bread on Tuesday added yet another name to its growing collection of coffee and fast-casual chains with the acquisition of a majority stake in the British concept Pret A Manger from the private equity firm Bridgepoint.”

“About three quarters of Pret’s shops are in the U.K. There are 90 stores in U.S. cities, the majority of which are in New York. The deal is expected to close later this summer.”
