More Asian-style hot dogs are coming to New York City all the way from Vancouver. Japadog is expected to open Thursday, January 5th in the East Village

Joe the Art of Coffee opens eighth location on the Upper East Side with the city’s first built-in pour-over bar tomorrow,
December 23rd at 7am

The Big Gay Ice Cream Shop will be hosting a “Festivus Celebration” today and tomorrow with donations going to New York Cares

As the year winds down, Big Gay Ice Cream Shop will be celebrating with the introduction of the Festivus Miracle Cone made with vanilla ice cream dyed green and covered with red sprinkles. The shop will be closed after Friday until the New Year kicks off.

NYCEDC Industrial Space Modernization RFP is now accepting proposals from small business manufacturers due December 11th, 2012 at 4pm. Various information sessions will be held
throughout 2012

The NYCEDC has partnered with the Office of Management and Budget to grant various manufacturing businesses, including food manufacturers, with funds to help grow and sustain these industries in New York City. The NYCEDC plans to disburse $8 million to qualified businesses.

Restaurants and small business retail shop owners complain about unfair ticketing by the New York City Health Department

General Manager of XES Lounge, Tony Juliano, is just one of many small business owners who are bringing the ticketing issue to table. Juliano was recently cited for a no smoking sign by the employee lounge but the bar has been opened since 2004 and was never cited for this among other things.
