Shake Shack is now open in Downtown Brooklyn on 409 Fulton St

The Bean is now open again- same neighborhood, new location

After the recent closing of their original East Village location on 824 Broadway, The Bean is back in business on 2nd Avenue and 3rd Street.
The original shop closed due to the landlord signing an agreement with Starbucks to open up shop within the same space. EV Grieve shows us what the 2nd Avenue location looks like

Dora is now “Pushcart Coffee” with a Grand Re-Opening Party this Friday, December 16th, from 6-8pm

The new owner, Jamie Rogers, purchased the coffee shop in September and has worked on rebranding the shop to tell the story of the Lower East Side– from past to present while sipping on a cup of joe.
Jamie, who also lives in the neighborhood, has partnered with The Lo-Down (an online news website for the Lower East Side) to produce a printed version of local news

Pret A Manger has recently opened up two new Downtown locations with one on the way next week in Midtown

The newest additions to Pret A Manger is located at 1 Astor Place (East Village) and 350 Hudson Street (Soho). The Midtown West location at the corner of 45th and 6th Ave is expected to open next week.

Eli’s Bread opens in Grand Central

The new bread bakery addition opened in the space where Corrado Bread and Pastry once lived. All baked goods will come from their Upper East Side location for now until their on-site kitchen space is completed.
