Women emerge in the craft beer industry

Craft beer is gaining more market share over corporate beer companies with sales increasing by 5.7 percent in volume and 9.1 percent in dollars as reported by the Brewers Association. Along with this, women are now getting into micro-brewed hops from managing on-site fermentation and consumption to social media/blogging and tasting social clubs.
The Brewers Association also reports that mass-produced American beer sales fell by 1% in 2011
