After opening in the summer of 2010, The Plaza Food Hall experienced a high traffic volume. Now, owner, Todd English, wants to add a little more diversity.

Tavern On The Green: Upper West Siders vs. Upper East Siders w/ opportunity for new operator.

The Upper West Side feels that the dining space should be more open to the public and less fancy while the Upper East Side feels that everything should remain just the way it was.
While the two neighborhoods try to come to an agreement, The New York City Parks Department is seeking a new operator for the space and will be releasing the RFP towards the end of the year
