This Wednesday will be the beginning of the transformation to the landmark space once known as Tavern on the Green. The $9.8 million renovation project is expected to be finished by the Summer of 2013. Although the renovation will keep the original facade, the classic twinkly tree lighting and event tents for special occasions (i.e. weddings) will be gone.
