New Urban Space Meatpacking Market projected to open in July seeks vendors

Urban Space, which is behind Madison Square Eats, Dekalb Market, and much more, plans to start up another outdoor market next month under the High Line. The market will stay from July to August. Tom Colicchio is included in the line-up of vendors and is also seeking a license to serve beer and wine.

NYC RFP For Staten Island Specialty Concession

All proposals submitted in response to this RFP must be submitted no later than Friday, May 18, 2012 at 3:00 pm.

Hard copies of the RFP can be obtained, at no cost, commencing on May 2, 2012 through May 18, 2012, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., excluding weekends and holidays, at the Revenue Division of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, which is located at 830 Fifth Avenue, Room 407, New York, NY 10065.

Friends of the High Line RFO seeks a restaurateur for year-round operation due Friday, March 30th at 3pm

The timeline of this project states that the restaurant is proposed to open June 2013 which will coincide with the opening of the High Line Headquarters at the south end of the High Line (between Gansevoort & Washington St).

Amendment to the Tavern on The Green RFP was released earlier this month on Tuesday, March 6th. Proposals are due Friday, March 30th

In efforts to find an operator for the old Tavern on The Green space, The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation updated the previously issued RFP with no change in the original due date. Tavern on The Green will be turned into a casual restaurant, outdoor cafe and bar.
