Owners of Applewood are using crowd-funding techniques for a start-up farm

David and Laura Shea of Applewood Restaurant in Park Slope recently purchase land in the Hudson Valley and needs the help of New York locals and abroad to raise money to purchase supplies needed to make their dream a reality. They will eventually like to host events such as Meet-The-Farmer, a sustainable dinner party.
