food-themed shops

After opening in the summer of 2010, The Plaza Food Hall experienced a high traffic volume. Now, owner, Todd English, wants to add a little more diversity.
Some of the added vendors to the current list are La Maison du Chocolat, Tartinery, Sant Ambroeus, and Luke’s Lobster

An O-RFP has been released to develop the land within this space under a lease. This is an O-RFP (Open RFP) and there are several submission dates: August 31, 2011 (passed), November 30, 2011, February 29, 2012, and May 23, 2012

Tavern On The Green: Upper West Siders vs. Upper East Siders w/ opportunity for new operator.

The Upper West Side feels that the dining space should be more open to the public and less fancy while the Upper East Side feels that everything should remain just the way it was.
While the two neighborhoods try to come to an agreement, The New York City Parks Department is seeking a new operator for the space and will be releasing the RFP towards the end of the year
